Thank you for your interest in our website and our services. The protection of your data and your privacy when using our website is very important to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you at this point which of your personal data is collected in relation to your visit to our website and for what purposes it is used.

In accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”, we inform you that 3B IT Consulting s.r.o., Polianky 3674/9N 841 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or the “Administrator”), processes your personal data.

The Administrator has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Contact with the Administrator on matters of protection of processed personal data and exercise of rights related thereto, is possible by:

  1. Sending an electronic message to the following e-mail address privacy@3b-it.com
  2. Sending correspondence by snail mail to the Administrator’s registered office address indicated above.

What is personal data?

Personal data is information that can be used to find out personal or factual circumstances about you. This individual information includes, for example, your name or your contact details, such as telephone number, address and e-mail address, but also data such as your location, bank details or your IP address.

The IP address is a unique address on the internet that is assigned to devices to make them addressable and thus reachable. Since an IP address can lead back to a person, the ECJ ruled that it is to be considered personal information.

What data is collected and processed?

The Administrator processes personal data of a business nature concerning contact persons and representatives of potential, current and former Customers and other contractors of the Company, to the extent including, in particular: name, surname, identification and contact data of the entity represented by the person, business telephone number, business e-mail address, position/role, as well as information on existing relationships and contacts with the Company (hereinafter referred to as “business contact data”).

If you have sent us a recruitment application, your personal data will be processed for the purpose of recruitment. We can process the data indicated in the labor law and their submission is necessary to participate in the recruitment.

We process the remaining personal data (e.g. image) on the basis of voluntary consent given by sending it to us in the recruitment application. Providing voluntary data does not affect your ability to participate in recruitment.

We will also process your data in order to participate in subsequent recruitment if you give us such consent.

It is possible to visit our website without providing us with personal data, e.g. if you would like to find out about our services.

On the one hand, data is collected from you when you send it to us by e-mail.

On the other hand, for technical reasons, data is automatically collected by the access provider when you visit the website. This data includes your IP address, which is transmitted together with other data by your browser.

This data is used for internal system-related and statistical purposes and is logged by the access provider and stored as so-called “server log files”. As a rule, this involves the following data:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of the request
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • The amount of data transferred
  • Message about successful retrieval
  • Source / reference (referrer URL) from which the access was made
  • Browser used, operating system of your computer if applicable
  • The name of the requesting provider

We do not carry out any personal analysis of this data. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate pseudonymised or anonymised data records. Such an evaluation is carried out, for example, for system security reasons to prevent misuse, to improve the website and for statistical purposes (number of users and page impressions).

Access providers may not store non-anonymised IP addresses indefinitely. After seven days at the latest, this data must be anonymised or deleted. However, data whose further retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes is exempt from this until the respective incident is finally clarified.

Purpose of data processing

Business contact data is processed primarily for the purpose of maintaining and developing business relationships with the entity the person represents (i.e., pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and for other purposes constituting legitimate interests of the Company, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (such as taking necessary actions to conclude or necessary to perform a contract with the entity the person represents, for the purposes of mutual contact between the parties, risk management and internal control, internal reporting and evaluation and optimization of the quality of the services provided or evaluation and development of sales opportunities), as well as for the purpose of fulfilling the Company’s legal and regulatory obligations in connection with the conduct of its business, including recruitment (i.e., pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We process personal data for the purpose of enabling you to use our website and, if you send us a message, also for the purpose of responding to you.

In some situations, it is possible that the processing will be subject to your consent to the processing of personal data. In such a situation, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

E-mail and contact form

Contact forms are used on this website. If you send us an e-mail, the data transmitted will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry. The information you send us in this way is voluntary and will be protected by us against unauthorised access by third parties in accordance with the state of the art. Your data will not be used for other purposes and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

We use this data exclusively for communication, for processing the enquiry, for possible follow-up questions and for carrying out applications. As a matter of principle, we do not store personal data longer than necessary. If the original purpose for collecting the data is no longer given, it will be blocked or deleted in accordance with legal regulations.

Please note that unencrypted e-mails sent via the Internet are not sufficiently protected against unauthorised access by third parties. For confidential information, we recommend that you communicate by post.

2. Processed for the purpose of fulfilling the legitimate interests of the Administrator – until such interests cease to exist, including the period of the statute of limitations for claims (i.e., until the expiration of the statute of limitations), or until an effective objection is raised against the processing.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties and third-party providers

The Administrator transfers personal data to the following categories of entities:

1. entities that are authorized to receive the data on the basis of the law or consent granted by the data subject,

2. entities entrusted with the processing of personal data on behalf of the Administrator, including, among others, accounting and tax companies, providers of ICT services, technical equipment, document archiving.

Otherwise your personal data will not be passed on to third parties (with the exception of the automatic transmission of the IP address) without your necessary prior consent.

The collection of personal data and its transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information will only take place within the scope of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by a court decision. Persons and companies commissioned by us are bound to secrecy.

IP addresses are automatically transmitted to the server where the website is operated when a website is visited. A transfer of these IP addresses to third parties inevitably occurs whenever a third party component (a script, a font or any other digital resource) is embedded on a website in such a way that a connection to a third party server is automatically established. When our website is called up, no files are retrieved from third-party servers.

Your rights regarding your data

You have the right at any time to free information about your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, the right to immediate correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You also have the right to object to the processing if the data is processed based on the legitimate interest of the Company. Please contact us at any time at the address listed at the end of this data protection notice.
